I’m Wendy, founder of Beauty Babe Lounge and proud single mama to a precocious little girl who inspires everything I do. What started as a passion for beauty quickly became a mission to create a space where women—especially busy moms and professionals—can feel confident, cared for, and effortlessly put-together. With over 20 years in the beauty and hospitality industries, I’ve poured my heart into building a warm, welcoming studio where quality, trust, and good vibes come first. Beauty Babe Lounge is more than just lashes and brows—it’s about showing up for yourself, even on the busiest days.
My Story
My lash journey started with a simple goal: to help women feel beautiful, confident, and seen. I was a single mom navigating life with a newborn daughter, and I knew I needed to create something of my own—not just to support us, but to build a legacy she could be proud of.
With over two decades of experience in the beauty and hospitality industries, I had a strong foundation, but lashes? That was where I found my true spark. The precision, the artistry, the way a great lash set could instantly lift someone’s confidence—it lit me up. I trained hard, studied the safest and most effective techniques, and worked tirelessly to perfect my craft.
In 2016, Beauty Babe Lounge was born. What started as a solo venture quickly grew into a trusted, go-to spot in Toronto for lash and brow services. Every detail, from the warm welcome to the meticulous aftercare, was built around the client experience. I wanted busy women and moms like me to walk in feeling frazzled and walk out feeling fabulous—and they did.
Word spread, and over time, my little studio became known not just for beautiful lashes and brows, but for genuine care, safety, and consistency. Clients felt at home here, and their loyalty is what helped Beauty Babe Lounge be voted one of Toronto’s Best Pros—an honour that still humbles me to this day.
This recognition isn’t just about the work I’ve done—it’s about every woman who has trusted me with her lashes, shared her story, or recommended Beauty Babe Lounge to a friend. It’s about community, connection, and creating beauty with purpose.
